Founded in 2023, South OC Wave was created with a bold vision: to become the premier girls flag football club in South Orange County — and to build a program that does more than just compete. We’re here to develop strong, confident athletes who are just as prepared for life as they are for the game. Teams in High School, 14U, 12U and 10U divisions compete in 5v5 during the winter and spring throughout the country.

What started as a small group of passionate coaches, players, and families quickly grew into a movement. We saw the need for a high-level, structured, and empowering space where girls could thrive in the sport of flag football — a space that values character, commitment, and community as much as wins.

At South OC Wave, we focus on the whole athlete. Our program emphasizes key principles like attitude, effort, energy, team building, fundamentals, and game-speed development — all designed to set players up for long-term success both on and off the field.

We are proud to represent the talent and spirit of South Orange County, and even prouder of the young women who wear the Wave jersey. Whether they go on to compete at the next level or find success in other arenas, our mission remains the same: to give every player the confidence, skills, and support to reach their full potential — wherever their path leads.
